Shipping Policy (ConbAi Shop)

This policy details the shipping process, estimated delivery times, costs, and terms for orders placed on our website from our Nigerian base to customers located in the Europe.

1. Order Processing Time

  • Processing Time: All orders are subject to a processing period before shipment. This typically takes 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Nigerian public holidays).
  • Notification: You will receive a separate email notification with the status of your shipment once your order has been processed and dispatched.

2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates

We partner with reliable international carriers to ensure your products arrive safely.

Shipping MethodEstimated Transit Time (After Processing)CostNotes
Standard International Shipping7 – 14 business daysCalculated at CheckoutEconomical option.
Express International Shipping3 – 7 business daysCalculated at CheckoutFaster service with higher cost.

⚠️ Important Note on Delays: The transit times provided are estimates. Due to factors outside our control, such as unforeseen delays with customs clearance in Nigeria or the UK, or peak holiday seasons, delivery times may occasionally be longer. We appreciate your patience.

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are determined by the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.
  • The total shipping cost will be automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before you finalize your payment.
  • All shipping costs are calculated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) and converted to your display currency (e.g., GBP) based on the current exchange rate, which may vary.

4. International Customs, Duties, and Taxes (UK Customers)

The most crucial section for UK customers:

  • DDP vs. DDU: Our standard shipping method is Delivery Duty Paid (DDU). This means the prices displayed on our site includes UK VAT, duties, or import taxes.
  • Customer Responsibility: As the importer of record, you (the customer) are solely responsible for paying any applicable VAT, customs duties, import fees, or taxes levied by the UK government (HMRC) or the delivery carrier upon the package’s arrival in the UK.
  • Payment: The carrier will typically contact you directly for payment of additional charges (where applicable) before delivering the goods. Failure to pay these charges promptly may result in the package being held, delayed, or returned to us.
  • Refused Shipments: If you refuse to pay the duties and the package is returned to Conbai Shop in Nigeria, a refund will be issued for the product cost only, minus the original shipping fee and any return shipping charges/fees incurred by us.

5. Tracking Your Order

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing the status of your shipment.
  • The Order status will be updated per change of point.

6. Lost or Damaged Packages

  • If your package tracking shows it has been delivered but you have not received it (stolen/lost after delivery), please file a report with the local UK police and contact us immediately. We cannot be held responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered.
  • If your package arrives damaged, please take photographs of the packaging and the damaged item(s) before opening and contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you with filing a claim with the carrier.

7. Incorrect Shipping Address

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the shipping address entered is correct.
  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, we will contact you to arrange re-shipment. Re-shipment will require payment of a new shipping fee.
